A cardiac pacemaker was placed by insured on May 27, 2008 for sinus Bradycardia.The procedure was uncomplicated and vital signs were normal. The patient suddenly became unresponsive and expired.It was determined by mecdiastinotomy that the pacemaker lead caused a hole in an aortic aneurysm, causing a bleed, code blue and death.
