Hepatitis of Unknown Etiology.
Operation, Diagnostic, Or Treatment Procedure Rendered Causing The Injury
Plaintiff alleged failure to entertain an appropriate differential diagnosis; viral hepatitis suspected on patient's first presentation. Plaintiff contended that hepatitis was in fact autoimmune hepatitis, however the vast majority of experts reviewing the case assert that the hepatitis was of unknown etiology.
