After evaluating the patient, the insured scheduled a colonoscopy, which was performed on 05/27/2008. Two polyps were removed and the patient was advised to return for review of the pathology results

The patient was later diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the Cecum, State III, and underwent surgical biopsy , chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and has been cancer-free for more than five years. .
