2.5 year old female was seen for well checkup. Patient parents indicate they expressed concern about eye drifting and head tilt as well as loss of appetite. (Records for this visit do not reflect eye concerns.) Post visit parent called office requesting ophthalmologist names.
Operation, Diagnostic, Or Treatment Procedure Rendered Causing The Injury
Alleged 6 month delay in diagnosis of craniopharyngioma. Surgery was done at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital with partial removal followed by radiation and second surgery at St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
