The patient decided to undergo a Dilation and Curettage procedure by her surgeon/OB GYN. Her surgeon discontinued her Xarelto medication prior to this elective surgery. The patient was discharged by her surgeon with no instructions on when to resume her Xarelto medication. There was also was no communications made with this practitioner concerning resuming the Xarelto.
