Patient developed an infection and ultimately underwent BKA by subsequent treater, resulting in allegation of improper treatment by insured.It should be noted that this patient was extremely non-compliant not only with insured but with all subsequent treaters.He did not follow instructions, missed appointments, signed out of the hospital when advised to stay, and did not take prescribed oral antibiotics if he didn't want to!
