Patient presented for persistent cough presented to the office of his PCP who ordered a chest x-ray.

Principal Injury Giving Rise To The Claim
This was an administrative issue where the facility did not follow protocols for reporting CXR results to the patientÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â¿s PCP. The patient was ultimately diagnosed with high grade, B-cell lymphoma. There was a 2 month delay in diagnosis and treatment. The patient responded well and was in complete remission at the time of claim evaluation.This case was dismissed without payment for the MD as he had no liability. This is being reported due to legal expenses > than $5,000
