There was no misdiagnosis. The patient was not satisfied with the results of her initial treatment with intensive pulse light therapy. As such, she returned one month later to have additional treatment performed. This provider applied some numbing cream to test a spot on the patient's face because she intended to use higher energy and wanted to be sure that the patient would tolerate it. A second treatment was provided with satisfactory result.
