Severe ataxia, severe stenosis at L4, L5 and even more severe stenosis at L5 to S1, with virtually complete obliteration of the spinal canal.

Patient underwent multi-level lumbar decompressive laminectomy with medial facetectomies and bilateral foramenotomies.Harvesting of muscle graft was also used in this surgery as well.Alleged failure to treat cervical instability which led to quadriplegia.Allege physician failed to make a correct and timely diagnosis of cervical stenosis and to recognize that the patient's symptomatology was at a level higher then the lumbar spine.
