Patient presented with a rough patch on his tongue. It was determined the irritation was caused by Mr. Benson biting on the number 18 lingual cusp. A subsequent ENT diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the throat.

Insured provided multiple cancer screens and a Veloscope exam with no abnormal findings. When patient reported discomfort in his throat, insured observed a small reddened area and insured referred him to an ENT.
