CT and MRI of abdomen/pelvis.

Patient had CT which showed a left kidney mass suspicious for renal cell CA. MRI was reported as showing no abnormality in the kidneys. No further investigation was done regarding the potential mass as a gynecologic source of the abdominal/pelvic pain was found and treated. Four years later the mass was seen again on scanning. The patient underwent left partial nephrectomy for low-grade renal cell CA. The cancer remains a Stage 1 disease. No metastasis or recurrent to date.
